Shawn Lam has talent! A rare triple threat in the industry, Shawn is an successful business owner, award winning camera operator & video editor, and sought-after video production instructor, product reviewer & industry analyst.
Shawn entered the video production industry in 2001 and has served 5 terms as President of the BC Professional Videographer’s Association. Over the past ten years Shawn
completed his professional accreditation, won 4 international video production awards, and has worked for clients in Europe, Mexico, USA, and all over Canada.
Shawn completed his business degree from the University of Winnipeg and has a passion for business communication using the medium of video.
Stephanie Guzman – Video Editor
Stephanie is a video editing and graphics design guru who practically grew-up in front of a computer. She has been a stable at Shawn Lam Video for the last four years and Steph is responsible for converting raw video footage into a finished video production. Stephanie recently completed her B.Sc degree from the School of Interactive Arts & Technology at SFU with a double concentration in Media Arts & Design.
Greg Lam – Camera Operator
Greg’s talents lie in connecting technical and design elements together so it is no wonder that Greg is a natural at video production. In addition to his work with Shawn Lam Video, Greg gained experience working for Electronic Arts and UBC Telestudios.
Although he wanted to be an inventor and then an engineer when he was growing-up, Greg completed his BA in Business from SFU, and runs his own consulting company.
Rob Hunt – Workflow Manager, Video Editor, Camera Operator
Rob is a UVic BSc Computer Science graduate who has turned his love for computer programming and playing video games into a profession.
In his free time Rob hones his skills by producing a local web series called Standard Action. Rob splits his time at Shawn Lam Video in the field as a camera operator and in the studio editing.
